These are Web applications that allow us to connect people with friends and even make new friends. They also allow users to share content, interact and create communities around similar interests. Examples about this social nets are: facebook,fotolog,myspace,twitter,tuenti,etc...

This are some of the most actuals social nets but they've already exist from 1997.

The advantages of this type of networks are that you can comunicate with others without spending money, in addition you can know new people,to share works, hobbies, opinions...

Also they can give you information about subjects very varied and I think, that in this type of networks, you can create your own personality and be another totally different person too.

Finally, I consider that you can be more sincere when being writing in a computer and you aren't seeing the face of the other person.

The disadvantages are that the adolescents (those who use this type of social networks more) happen most of the time in them, and they take off it to the study.

Another disadvantage is that sometimes the expressions are misinterpreted and isn't a good communication. I think that networks aren't controled because many young people, that can't be there, have one social net. Finally, I want to observe, that people sometimes, put too much information, for example, she raises private photos, and all this when you are older, at the time of choosing a work, influences negatively.

In my opinion, have a social net it's cool but you have to be careful.

Bullying

Now we start the school and I want to talk about one thing very important; BULLYING.

For a lot of people (children , young people,(girls and boys), etc..) starts a nightmare when they start the school...

Bullying is characterized by an individual behaving in a certain way to feel like superior in front the other person .

To intimidate, to force another person to do something it is the bullying.

The Intimidation others can be physical or verbal.

Girls use more verbal than pysique.

They tend to use the physical intimidation or the threats, without them his victims matter.
Normally, these cases are given between children from 10 to 16 years.

Sometimes bullies will pick on people bigger or smaller than their size,

weaker than they.

Many programs have been started to prevent bullying at schools with promotional speakers.

The effects of bullying can be serious and even fatal.

The Victims of bullying can suffer a lot of problems like : loneliness, depression, iety (for example).

I can't do bullying another person, because it seems to me horrible to ill-treat a person physical as psychologically, and I think that those that they do bullying have a very small heart .

LOVE ME IF YOU DARE
(JEUX D’ENFANTS)

Well, there’s nothing more to start school, and I have to finish BLOGS , so , This summer I went to French but I don't want to talk about this I want to talk about a French flim because I haven’t got anything interesting to tell, then I’m goingo to talk about a French film, that I saw with my friends and I loved it.

The original name is “Jeux d’enfants”, but in English is “love me if you dare”. The director is Yann Samuell and the Main actors are; Guillaume Canet (Julien) y Marion Cotillard(Sophie). This film is making at year 2002 and is a romantic comedy.

Julien and Sophie met when they were children, and as they were living a bad situation, he because his mother was dying, and she because all the children torture hers, and they say hers “dirty Polish”, Julien and shopie get together and they start a game that it will keep them amused, for forget all bad things.The game that they create is called “truth or dare” and it treat that they have to put challenges to the other, and something very involved, and they have to keep, if they say DARE.They grow and they‘re still together, thank the game that they create. But every time the challenges are more complicated, and entail more responsability because they aren’r children.The game is a mask for hide that really they fell, that they are in love, because is easier be friends, and live of a game, that they confront the reality.

Mouline Rouge

I've seen this movie many times, but I've chosen mouline Rouge because is one of my favourite films :D

The movie shows the life of christian, a young man who lives in Paris.

Christian goes to Paris beacuse he wants to write love stories.
He tries to establish himself in the Bohemian culture.

Chrstian decides to search for a job in moulin rougue, a famous cabaret.

But when he arrives he meets Satine, a pretty girl and he falls in Love with satine.

Harold Zidler is the owner of the cabaret and Christian helps him with the show, entitled "Spectacular Spectacular".
Harold arranges a private meeting between Christian and Satine.
But the same night Harold had arranged Satine to spend the night with the Duke who is looking to invest in the cabaret.
But Harold didn´t realize that Christian and the Duke weren't the same person, Harold tought that Christian was the duke and arraged a private meeting and after he discovers that Christian isn't the Duke.

Satin and Christian lived a very enthusiastic history of love, although Satin must be with the Duke..

And they hide their love, but the Duke discovers the love between Satin and Christian and everything changes.

Christian was in love and he tells Satin that he wants to be all the live with her and he propose Satin to go far away moulin rouge, Paris, everything .. together alone.

Satin is too in love and she says YESSSSSSSS!, but when she was making the suitcase Harold appears and says Satin that she is dying...

Satin loves Christian a lot and she doesn't want to hurt him, and she lie saying :

- Christian I'm not in love with you..

Christian doesn't understand anything.

Christian called many times Satine but she doesn't respond.

In the end when is the opening night of "Spectacular Spectacular", Satine was very weak and she dies in Christian arms...

U R B A N T R I B E S

Urban tribes are groups of people who have the same habits,do the same activities and for example go to similar places to be together because they go with the people that are similar to them. They normaly listen to the same music or they wear the same clothes.

there are a lot of diffrents kind of tribes, for example:

Emos:
Emo stands for emotional. Instead of an angry, hard-core way of expressing one-self, Emo has taken a new role in the twentieth century.
From music with strong emotion and feeling, unlike hard rock, this has emerged as an alternative way to let feelings be known.
Black clothes are teamed with bright colours. Emos will often be seen in clothing such as Punkyfish, Vans and Atticus Clothings (Blink 182's own clothing line). The term ‘emo’ is stereotyped with tight jeans on males and females alike, a long fringe to hide behind brushed to one side of the face or over one or both eyes.
Bands are mostly American and musically accomplished. It is part hardcore punk, part melodic indie. Favourite bands include Fall Out Boy, Alkaline Trio and Funeral For A Friend.

This is a Tribe whose ideology centres on Kurt Cobain. It is a label given by others to those who dislike conforming to major brand names or trends, have any of their own opinions, listen to music they want to listen to rather than what everyone tells them to.
Grungers will usually be seen in battered jeans, baggy jumpers, and sleeves pulled down with holes through which thumbs are poked. A grunger will wear clothes that are comfortable and do not pay much attention to appearance. Hair is usually bleached blonde and shoulder length, messy.
Skaters are very diffrent to grungers:
Skaters:
Skaters are one of the few tribes to be defined by something other than music. A resurgence of an 80’s urban tribe, they are a younger hybrid of the grunger and the metaller. A skater is usually under 20, lives outside of central urban areas, and is passionate about bands no-one else has heard of, wear big baggy shorts, chains and have piercings.
Music tastes include British hip hop/breakbeat like Roots Manuva, Infinite Livez, and Plump DJs. Tribe members also listen to indie, grunge and punk, electro, trance and metal.

Men are often seen in denim jeans, loose, hanging shirts and styled hair. Women can be seen also in denim jeans and anything with a designer logo.
Likes stretch from better known acts such as The Kooks, Franz Ferdinand to pre-breakthrough acts like The Gossip and Datarock. Trendies are often seen reading Glamour or Vogue magazine to find out the latest fashion trends.

Wiggers:
A slang term referring to white people emulating urban African Americans and urban black British and Caribbean culture. A wigger tries to imitate black American hip-hop.
Members of this tribe will often be wearing a backwards cap, baggy tops - often basketball jerseys or the label Fubu, and lots of jewellery. Sacha Baron Cohen’s character Ali G can be strongly associated with making a mockery out of wiggers.
The wigger will often have tattoos, usually bearing the name of a dead rapper or the slogan of a rap group. The terms ‘whack’ and ‘for shizzle’ are commonly used. Music artists Eminem and Vanilla Ice have in the past been accused of being part of this tribe.

ISRAEL - GAZA CONFLICT

INTRODUCTION_

The conflict began on June 24, 2006, when in light of ongoing Qassam rocket attacks on Israeli cities, Israeli operatives seized suspected Hamas members Osama and Mustafa Muamar in the Gaza Strip. On June 25, a Hamas attack in Israeli checkpoint resulted in the deaths of two Israeli soldiers and the capture of Israeli Corporal Gilad Shalit. In turn, Israel launched Operation Summer Rains on June 28. Israel maintains that it mobilized thousands of troops in order to suppress Qassam rocket fire against its civilian population and to secure the release of Corporal Gilad Shalit. It is estimated that between 7,000 and 9,000 heavy Israeli artillery shells have been fired into Gaza since September 2005, killing 80 Palestinians in 6 months. On the Palestinian side, approximately 1,000 Qassam missiles are believed to have been fired into Israel. Israel has stated that it will withdraw from Gaza and end the operation as soon as Shalit is released. The Palestinians say the assault is aimed at toppling the democratically elected Hamas-led government and at destabilizing the Palestinian National Authority, citing the targeting of civilian infrastructure such as a power station and the captures of government and parliament members.

HISTORY_

Barack Obama, who takes over as U.S. president from George W. Bush on January 20, broke his silence about the violence in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, calling the loss of civilian lives in Gaza and in Israel a "source of deep concern for me." Obama added he would adhere to his principle that only Bush should be the voice of U.S. foreign policy at this time but he would have plenty to say after his inauguration in two weeks.

"Combo" is the former leader of this gang and wastes no time trying to re-establish his dominance in a direct confrontation with "Woody". "Combo" has become a racist during his 3 years in prison and views skinheads as the prefect front line soldiers in the National Front's (an extremely conservative political party) war to keep England for "Englishmen."

MICHELANGELO

EL INTERNADO

Countable nouns are things that we can count.

For example: "door".

We can count doors, we can have one, two, three or more doors.

My Holidays

- This summer I was with my father June and July.
I was in "pobla de farnals " many weekend , when we want.
and I met many new friends in the urbanization where my father lives ,they were very nice and funny.
I was very nice with my father! :)
With my mother I was Agust and September.
On 12, Agust I traveled two weeks with my mother and my sister to Ibiza.
I went with my mother, my sister and with Marisa, Alberto(Eso1) and Carmina (5th).
When we arrived we were in a smaller apartment although with view the sea by the terrace and later we changed to an urbanization with the greatest house where I became some friends.
we went in boat to formentera where with one zodiac approached us the beach! , slight prettier water. I LOVE FORMENTERA :)

When we were in Ibiza we met Natalia Millán, Elsa in a serious of "antena 3" (El Internado) we met Natalia because she is sister-in-law of Marisa. we was brilliant with her and her daughter Violeta of 14 years ,like me. I`m very nervious when I met her because I love "El Internado" ,it enchanted to met her .

Is a really likeable girl. :)

When I arrived at valencia I finished the homeworks that I had left (that wasn´t many, don´t think bad xD')This year I have had very good summer, but now we have returned to the school, so there will be to concentrate itself because we go to eso 3!!!!

Simple Future has two different forms in English: "will" and "be going to."

They often express two very different meanings.

You will help him, will you help him ?, you won't help him

we use will : promises, offers, intentions and plans and ask politely.

GOING TO - [am/is/are + going to + verb]

Examples:

You are going to eat pizza ,Are you going to eat pizza?, You aren't going to eat pizza

we use going to : express plans and intentions, future events and preditions with evidence (things that are evident, for example if there are clouds it is evident that it is going to rain)

The last Wednesday 14 th, my class ESO 2 went to Germany to do an exchange with the other people with the same age and of the diffrents countries.

the families recibe us and we stay in one house where we practise,learn and speak English with they.

We met in a school and there we make activities like soocker,dancing,fashion and cooking.

They separated to us by worckshops and we went to visit the city in bus,also we make a disco and in the free time when we go in the afternoons with the families we go to wittmund city.

We stay in Wittmund for three days and after we go all of my class to be in Cologne for one night and two days ina hostal.

We was very well because the hostal are very,very good not like spanish hostal.

In Cologne we go to visit the Cathedral and a Chocolate factory and we go and we went and we returned to Spain all together in airplane.

This year I stay easter's week with my father.

FORM: [was/were + present participle]

The past continuous of any verb is composed of two parts : the past tense of the verb to be (was/were), and the base of the main verb +ing

The past continuous describes actions or events in a time before now, which began in the past and was still going on at the time of speaking.

It is used:

- Often, to describe the background in a story written in the past tense.

- To describe an unfinished action that was interrupted by another event or action: "I was having a beautiful dream when the alarm clock rang."

- To express a change of mind: e.g. "I was going to spend the day at the beach but I've decided to go on an excursion instead."

Form
have/has + past participle

We use the present perfect to refer an action happened at an unspecified time before now.

For example : yesterday, one year ago, last week, when I was a child,etc...

or with an unspecific time expressions.

For example : ever, never, once, many times, several times, before,etc...

How do you actually use the present perfect?

The concept of "unspecified time" can be very confusing to English learners. It is best to associate Present Perfect with the following topics.

Topic 1 - Experience

You can use the present perfect to describe an experience,The Present Perfect isn't used to describe a specific event.

example:

I have been to France.

(This sentence means that you have had the experience of being in France,maybe you have been there once, or several times.)

I have been to France three times.

(You can add the number of times at the end of the sentence. )

I have never been to France.

(This sentence means that you have not had the experience of going to France. )
I think I have seen that movie before.

topic 2- Change Over Time

Sometimes we use the past perfect to talk about change that has happened over a period of time.

Examples:

The government has become more interested in arts education.
Japanese has become one of the most popular courses at the university since the Asian studies program was established.
My English has really improved since I moved to Australia.

Tropic 3- Accomplishments

We often use the past perfect to talk about accomplishments of the humanity .

Examples:

Our son has learned how to read.
Doctors have cured many deadly diseases.
Scientists have split the atom.

Tropic 4- An Uncompleted Action You Are Expecting

We often use the Present Perfect to say that an action which we expected has not happened. Using the Present Perfect suggests that we are still waiting for the action to happen.

Examples:

Susan hasn't mastered Japanese, but she can communicate.
Bill has still not arrived.
The rain hasn't stopped.

Tropic 5- Multiple Actions at Different Times

When we use the Present Perfect it means that something has happened at some point in our lives before now. Remember, the exact time the action happened is not important.

Sometimes, we want to limit the time we are looking in for an experience.We can do this with expressions such as: in the last week, in the last year, this week, this month, so far, up to now, etc.

Examples:
Have you been to Mexico in the last year?
I have seen that movie six times in the last month.
They have had three tests in the last week.

Simple Present.

We use Simple present to refer to an action can be a habit, a hobby, a daily event, a scheduled event or something that often happens. It can also be something a person often forgets or usually doesn't do.

Speakers sometimes use the Simple Present to express the idea that an action is happening or is not happening now.

The diference between present simple and present continous is that the present simple is used to talk about things that you do usually and the present continous is used to talk about things that happen in this moment

Computers Vs. Books

There are many who believe that the traditional book is being phased out in favour of the computer.
the television was becoming the norm in homes, when appeared the new technologies people no longer read so much because they have another greater entertainment (the computer, the television set, etc...). It is paper which disappearing little by little.
In many ways, this is a good thing, because paper comes from trees and trees are becoming scarce and that be a wonderful advance for the environment.
The people think that is more funny play and talk with the computer than read because the people say that read is very boring.

Difrents Opinions:

The San Francisco Examiner has this article about the renovation of San Francisco libraries and decisions to have more floor space for computers and less for book stacks. It is wonderful to see people in the community pushing for room for more books! But as in any library everything is a balancing act, and I don't believe that any librarian is seeing this as a technology vs. books decision. And who nows, soon we proboly will build computers with tons of petabytes, exabytes, zettabytes and so on...An earlier problem with computers was their size and prize, they was to large and to expensive, but as time has gone they have shrinked both in size an prize. In the future we will proboly have computers with tons of terabytes, so small that you can put it in your pocket, which only cost you 5 dollars.Computers are not only more practical than books. I think that the technology has come far in recent years ,the progress society is making, some of us can't help but wonder if newer is always better.

My friends

I have many friends but my best friends are my class friends. I know them since I was three years old. We are seven girls: Carla, Elisa, Marga, Carla, Valeria, Ana and me.
They are very good friends, I enjoy a lot being with them.

I get very sad when I imagine that in two years we aren't going to be together any more. I have been with them all my life I we have been through many good and bad moments but we always support eachother. Although we live in different places we are always getting around. Even though we are seven I can only talk about some of them.

In school I have some other friends of different grades like susana, sofia and marina; three girls of ESO 3, they are very friendly. I laugh a lot with them because they are always making jokes. I like going with them because I have lots of fun and I also like to get around with other people.

Valeria: She is a very good friend of mine, she's always happy so I always feel good when you are with her. She's medium high and very thin. She has blonde straight hair and blue eyes. She's very funny and she has a very funny laugh so when she laughs everybody does. She's 13 years old as all of us. She was born in 1994. She lives in La Cañada. Her birthday is the 16th of june. I know her since I was three but I have only been a really good friend of her since only a few years because she had other friends in school. I love her.

These Christmas I didn't travel ,I spend one week with my mother and one week with my father.

Girl against the jungle

I read this book in summer and I don't like very much.

This book is about one girl who travel with her mother from Lima back to their home in Pucallpa on Christmas Eve.
But the plane have an accident (crashes)in South America jungle and Suzanne's mother died.
Suzanne is lost in the jungle for old the time but in the end she found a boat and found one house.

I think that this book is very,very borring because it happens the same sort of things all the time. the beginning is the best.

In San Antonio they have many buildings in these years.

before San Antonio it was a small town where few inhabitants lived and that nobody knew it, but now there are many houses (mainly urbanizations) by all part of there.

For example when I look for internet things about San Antonio single found things like...

the policy of this governed population at the moment and for many years by the PP, after the growth of this town I have been thinking that it is reversed mainly in the operation of the land over everything.

MadeleiNe miSsinG

On may 3rd,a little 4 year old kid called Madeleine was abdupted in praia da luz (portugal) when her parents were having dinner in a restaurant.
They left the three kids, Madeleine and her brother and sister which are twins.
they go back for the restaurant they noticed that Madeleine was missing but her brother and sister were slepping.
trained dogs who were sent to portugal by the english police and detected that it smellt like a corps and little blood remains in the Mccann hotel apartment where Madeleine dissapeard, they also found tracks in their car and other efects of her parents.
The newspaper says that the portuguese police found a syringe in the bedroom's closet were Madeleine was seen for last time. They investigated the possibylity, that her parents injected to Madeleine a lot of sleeping pills to get Madie slept while they were having dinner.
Madeleine is 4 months missing, and their parents will stay in Praia da Luz till Madeleine's body appears.

An Interactive whiteboard is a board in which the students and teachers can interact with grafics.

Today not many schools have it,but I'm sure in the future the majority of the schools will have it.

consists of a computer connected to a video projector, that projected the image of the screen on a surface, from which you can control the computer, make handwritten annotations on any image projected, as well as save, print, send them by electronic mail and export them to various formats.

At my school we have two interactive whiteboard and we are quite happy with them,one in my class and I think that is positive because is very and fun, but sometimes it is a little bit slow

On Monday 7 of may,my class trip to madrid in bus.

In madrid visited museums, parks,restaurants,shops, typical place,

For example: Thyssen Museum,Prado Museum and Reina Sofia Museum, Also we visited Neptuno,Cibeles,Puerta del sol, sabatini's garden, retiro's park, hylogui's restaurant,cathedral Almudena,sinagoga,Palacio de cristal,Puerta de Alcalá and a lot of places.

We sleep in a Hostel on the outskirts of madrid in rooms of 6 and 8 persons.

we walk and saw monuments and the trip was brilliant!! thanks Marias and Eva!

On Wednesday 9 we went to Toledo to be all the day.

We went to Toledo in Ave,but we had a problem with the Ave.

When we come to station of the Ave,was too late and we could not take the Ave and we had to wait two hours until the next Ave...xD!!

In Toledo we went visit a lot of place ,For example: Sinagoga,Casa del Greco,Mezquita and more. Later we ate sandwiches in the street of Toledo with the teachers and later we went shopping in this street with your friends.

When we finished the sandwich we went to visit the rest of place os Toledo and later we went to Dinner at Mcdonalds.

In the larger villages, Berbers live in stone houses but in the smaller villages they live in tents or clay huts.

FaLLaS is a celebration from Valencia...It began when the people were throwing the old things that it didn't want to the street and together they were burning everything.
The Fallas are enormous models made out of papier mache, wood and wax.
In this celebration the "falleros" and "falleras" they dress the"falleros&falleras"for the Cavalcade.

In fallas there are falleras/os,mascletás,fireworks,cavalcades,firecrackers and overcoat a lot of people doing the hooligan.
The city is adorned in decorations and fallas later begin the festival:

the nomination and proclamation of the Fallas Queens , the Exaltation, the Cridá, the Cavalcade of the Ninot, the Offering of Flowers, the Planta and the Cremá.

The Cremá:
the Cremá is when the fallas are burned(St. Joseph, 19th March.)

The ghost of the genny castle....*]

*The story of my book is about one girl called Clarie who goes to stay whit her Aunt Min.
Her Aunt Min lives in a small village of little Genny and near it is an old castle.

*Clarie is interesed in the castle and she wants to know story of the castle; terrible accidents had

happened there, animals and people dead....

One day, Clarie goes to the castle to see and she discovers that someone is looking at her....

it is a ghost!!!!!!!

*The ghost asked her...Who are you??
and Clarie answeres, I called Clarie.
The ghost said to her that was impossible,
Clarie was dead,Clarie got scared and left.

*My pesonal opinion:

* I think that my book is entretaining because it is of mystery.
But sometimes it was a bit boring because it was a typical story of fear and ghosts.
I recomend other people to read it short and besides there are explanations of most difficult word in every pages.

The principal characters:

* The main characters in my book are Clarie,a young girl and her aunt also...

* Clarie---- She is young, she has blond hair, she is tall, thin, of opened personality; very nice, agreeable, and very courios.

* Aunt Min---- She is old, of greyish hair, agreeable and good person.

The Christmas in Spain are celebrated of the following way: The most important days for the children are those of the gifts ... lOl (when are “the three wise man” )for the family and the most adult people it is the day in family though don't the whole people.

Some people in Spain celebrate Santa Claus it's a tradition from north america.The 24th of December the family gathers around the table to have a big dinner and celebrate Christmas,that's the night when Santa Claus comes with his raindeers to give the presents to the kids.The next day(25th of December) is the day of Christmas when the kids find their presents under the tree,normally the family have lunch all together.

31th of december is a day when all the family go

The man abuses his authority and he is Aggressive towards the women,he does it to demonstrate his authority.(MACHO MAN) During this year already they have killed sixty-four women because of the mistreatment, The woman feels impotent,they don't know what to do,they are only a scared,but though the education to outpost every five seconds an ill-treated woman dies.
